Sergio Aarón Pérez Velázquez was born in Mexico in 1992. A Composer, multi- instrumentist and improviser. He was a student of Gonzalo Macías, Lemuel Xicohténcatl, Jonathan Carrasco and Federico González. Other courses: Carola Bauckhault, Francois Daudin Clavaud, Jean Francois Cavro, Iracema de Andrade, Emiliano Tristán-Pardo, Jorge Alberto Sánchez, Aleyda Moreno, Daniel Jiménez, Iván Macuil among others.His music has been performed at Festivalis Druskomanija (Lithuania), Shortwave coffee (London), Weidner Center (Wisconsin, USA), Backbone Youth Arts (Australia), Teatro Gladys Vidal (Panamá) and various venues throughout Mexico. His piece TBT DC was selected to be played at Acusmonium at Technomancie 2 in Marseille, France.He won first place in the “Ideas Pulsadas” festival (Puebla, Mexico) with his piece Vertigo; his fixed media piece “SnO2” was included in the Album “Sn”: 50th anniversary of Juan María Solare.
