TEM - Taukay Edizioni Musicali and Delta Produzioni Associazione Culturale announce the results of the international composition competition "Città di Udine" – fourteenth Edition (2023).

The Jury is composed as follows:

533 works from 61 countries are arrived at our office (205 for the “Compositions for chamber instrumental group” section, 167 for the “Compositions for solo instrument” section, 125 for the “Electroacoustic music” section and 36 for the “Audiovisual project” section).

Zaid Jabri (Syria) with the composition Prelude and Adagio in memoriam Krzysztof Penderecki

(b) The Finalists for the “Compositions for solo instrument” section chosen by the Jury were:

• Prize ex aequo for the “Compositions for solo instrument” section (500 + 500 euros and public performance)

Graziano Riccardi (Italy) with the composition Figure del dissimile

Tomoya Yokokawa (Japan) with the composition The scent of autumn breeze

• Award of the FIDAPA BPW Italy – Section of Udine, for a female composer for the “Compositions for chamber instrumental group or solo instrument” section (Plaque, 200 euros and public performance)

Hon Ning Cheung (Hong Kong) with the composition Atemsäer

(c) The Finalists for the “Electroacoustic music” section chosen by the Jury were:

• First Prize absolute for the “Electroacoustic music” section (1000 euros and public performance)

• License for the “GRM TOOLS complete II” plug-ins, the sound processing system dedicated to sound designers, offered as a prize by INA GRM for one of the competition winners.

In October 2023 two concerts will be organized in Udine (Italy). The first concert will be dedicated to the winning works. In the second concert the following finalist works/compositions will be performed:
