Interensemble born as an independent activity of musical research, following a hard requirement of new things and renewal and free of links with Schools, ideologies, compositive techniques, previous organizational strategies. It is founded in 1983 by the italian composer and pianist Bernardino Beggio as a result of a cultural operation of renewal and opening towards contemporary musical production that taken place in the preceding years at the Conservatory of Padua. The validity of the way of working that had in experiment and multiple disciplines its principal characteristics was immediately recognized even at an international level with the first tours done through out Europe.
The progressive widening of the repertoire has brought the Interensemble to travel pratically all the musical itineraires of the 20th from Ravel and Stravinsky to Cage, Stockhausen, Berio and Donatoni, from Glass and Nyman to Piazzolla, up to the present generation of composers, from computer music to musical theatre, from music with popular roots to the minimalist experience.
It has recorded for the Italian RAI, the Belgian BRT, the Irish RTE, the Polish, Czech, Croatian, Rumanian, Egyptian National Radios, for the Potuguese Television and has done numerous tours in Poland, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Finland, Greece, Czech Republic, Croatia, Belgium, Ireland, Egypt, Rumania, Mexico and USA.
