After graduating from the Santa
Cecilia conservatory in Rome, Alessandra Celletti completed a specialized
course with the Maestro Vera Gobbi Belcredi. In 1994 she came to the
attention of the Italian music scene with her own independent release,
an album dedicated to the music of Debussy, Ravel and Satie. For her
next discography project, “Viaggio a Praga”, she obtained
a scholarship from Czech Republic and was invited to play in Praga and
Brno. She recorded for RAI (RadioTelevisione Italiana) and for the Radio
Vaticana (Vatican Radio). Since 1998 she has collaborated with KHA Records,
recording three albums dedicated to the music of Gurdjieff / De Hartmann,
Erik Satie and Scott Joplin. Since 1996, along with live performances,
she has studied in depth the research and composition of electro-acoustic
music giving particular attention to multimedia projects. Her music interests
are mostly directed to the ‘900 and contemporary productions, with
a particular attention to the minimalist movement. At the moment she
is collaborating with the Swedish artist Paulina Wallneberg Olsson. A
Cd dedicated to the piano compositions of Philip Glass will be soon released,
also with KHA Records.
