Matteo Andri, graduated in piano
with a first-class honors degree and special mention under the guide
of Prof. Maria Grazia
Cabai at the Jacopo Tomadini Conservatory in Udine, where he is now studying
Composition with M°Renato Miani. He completed many specialized courses
with the following teachers: Paul Badura – Skoda, Giorgio Lovato,
Boris Bloch, Siavush Gadjiev, Daniele Rivera, and with the Trieste Trio
for the chamber music. He was rewarded at the Fourth International Competition
for young talents in Povoletto, and then won the first prize at the National
Piano Competition Città di Castiglione Fiorentino in 2001. In
2002 he won the first prize at the National Competition San Pietro in
Vincoli and, in 2003, the second prize (first not assigned) at the National
Piano competition in Terzo di Val Bormida; moreover he won the first
prize at the International piano competition Amadeus, the Prize SIAEat
the show for the best Italians graduated in Castrocaro Terme. He then
won a prize with a grant at the Competition Giovani Talenti A. Rossi
de Riospromoted from Soroptimist International D’Italia. He played
for many different associations, and during the concert seasons of Amici
Della Musica of Vicenza and Udine, for the International Music Festival
Nei Suoni dei Luoghi 2004, the season Carniarmonie, the Humaniter of
Naples, the Academy of piano Ricci, the Soroptimist Italian Club, at
the 100°Consiglio delle delegate in the ‘500 room of Palazzo
Vecchio in Florence. He is now attending courses with M°Boris Petrushanskj.
Sergio Bernetti. Graduated in
trombone at the Music Conservatory in Trieste. He continued to study
with J. Alessi, A. Conti, U. Eichenberger, J. Friedman,
R. Martin, B. Sinigoj e C. Vernon. When he was still very young,
he started to collaborate with the Teatro G.Verdi in Trieste and then
with the Orchestra
dell’Accademia Nazionale of S. Cecilia, the Camera Orchestra of
Padova and Veneto region, the Symphonic Orchestra of Friuli venezia Giulia
region, the Symphonic Orchestra of Rome and Lazio region, the Teatro
dell’Opera of Romeand with other music institutions of Triveneto
area. He did carry out different chamber music activities, music duet
with piano and with brass groups, from the quartet, with his I QuatTromboni
to the quintet Arabesqueto the decimino. During 2002-03 he won many different
first prizes in National and International competitions. He obtained
the Premio speciale per la Musica Contemporaneaat the International Competition
in Biella; he engages in executing pieces of contemporary authors like
L. Nono, I. Xenakis, G. Scelsi and he was given original compositions
for his instrument. He teaches trombone at the Music Institute of Farra
D’Isonzo.
